“ENABLING ORPHANS AND DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN IN UGANDA ATTAIN QUALITY FORMAL EDUCATION AND BASIC NEEDS FOR THEIR BRIGHT FUTURE”
Mr. Biryomuriwe Gad is the programs coordinator of Kawempe
standard junior school, founder, and director of mind Uganda. He initiated the orphanage idea and introduced it to Birungi Jemimah to join him as a volunteer in 2007,and later introduced the idea to Stephen and Monica. The project has its head offices in kawempe Kampala city and has project operations in Kawempe ketifalawo zone 6kms Bombo road from Kampala city.
Over the past years, the director had strong feeling over orphans and disadvantaged children in Uganda and looked forward to helping them at a given time, as manifested in kawempe standard junior school through mind Uganda.
Gad was able to influence Birungi Jemimah to join him form a voluntary, non-profit organisation called Mind Uganda, made research on the increasing school drop out of young children in Kawempe division and came up with the sponsorship program.
It is this strong concern that influenced the director come up with kawempe standard junior school under mind Uganda so that the victims can be helped. On this note therefore, we welcome any volunteer all over the globe to help and sponsor a child in Kawempe standard junior school or he can also volunteer with his personal physical, mental, and psychological skills. This can take form of teaching, canselling and guidance and other life skills.
